Don's Ford

"Found the vehicle I wanted online (as we live out of state). Scott was amazing to work with and through pictures, videos, email, and phone calls we were able to make the whole deal within a week (sooner if I had availability to respond quicker.) The vehicle was held for me until we could get there today for us to verify that we indeed wanted it. The out of state process was a little tricky but no fault of theirs and we made it through. Bailey was also great through the whole financial process. Thank you all again for everything!"

"This place has had a close friend of mine’s truck for over 90 days fixing it and they just started the repair process today. He bought a truck from them had it 30 days before the motor let loose, the service department is a total joke they again have had the vehicle longer than he had the truck. Service manager has avoided his calls and when he accidentally answered the phone told him I’ll call you back in 20 minutes let me see what is going on with your truck. 2 weeks later still no answer from the service manager and they still have his $42,000 truck. Now today they said they would give him $25,000 to trade the truck in for another vehicle and then they won’t even give him a break on the price. Words right out of the salesman’s mouth “ it’s not the sales department that screwed over the customer it was the service department and we are not going to do anything about it” well Don’s Ford you have lost my business for anything after this, I have put the word out to a few people that are looking for transit vans and a Ambulances not to buy them from you. Another friend of mine went to Friendly Ford and bought a brand new truck that he ordered and was very impressed with the quality of service he got from them, just saying I think I will be going there for my business."

"So as far as finding the vehicle in their inventory and test drive that part was good. The financial part of it due to our circumstances was a long process but that is to be expected. The part I'm not happy with is they violated the state inspection guidelines for what passes state inspection and what fails. The 3rd brake light assembly does not light properly. Only 4 out of the 10 led lights light up and the state manual says all lights must light so they passed it anyway when they were not supposed to. When I brought it to their attention they said it was too expensive to fix. I'm sorry excuses don't override state inspection laws. So now because we were in desperate need of the car because our Ford Escape was rusted so bad it wasn't safe to drive I took delivery of a vehicle that I now have to fix before the next state inspection. If it costs money to fix a car for resale you adjust the price but parts and labor to a dealership costs less than what I will be charged to fix it. Something that will cost me $1000 to fix would cost them $500 if they wanted it to so for that on top of the new tires leaking air my next Ford will not be purchased there. You can see in the picture the high mounted stop lamp only has 4 leds that light and every other inspection station I've talked to said that fails inspection for the lighting."

"I wouldn't recommend dons ford for services on your truck or vehicle. I took my truck there to have work done that I was told they could do when I scheduled my appointment that they did not do for me. Also I had a 7:30 AM appointment and when I called at 2:00 pm they still didn't look at my truck that I was told should only take a couple hours to do the work. I had to call repeatedly just to talk to my service guy and leave multiple messages that he never returned my calls. Finally I called to talk to a manager and when I asked to speak to one I was not put in touch with one but rather asked multiple questions and then told that someone would call me back. But it was not the manager that I asked to talk to that called me back. So again I do not recommend Don's Ford to anyone."

"Our car buying experience at Dons Ford was excellent from start to finish. We felt no pressure to buy which actually made my wife and I more comfortable making a purchase that day. Our sales representative Anthony was very personable and went above and beyond to answer our questions. The finance department was top notch as well, and was very fast and efficient."
