"My mom was recovering from a leg injury and using a wheelchair, but insisted to fly in and visit me, so I needed to rent an accessible vehicle. The manager, Tom, called me two days in advance to confirm the necessary documents and information. On the day of the rental, Tom greeted me warmly and had prepared a Chrysler Voyager in excellent condition with only 10k miles on it. He not only explained the basics of the vehicle and the route to JFK but also demonstrated how to use the electric folding ramp. He was very professional and friendly throughout. The vehicle worked so well and smooth in the 5-day rental, and even for me a first-time acessible van driver, it was not hard to use it. If anyone needs to rent a wheelchair-accessible vehicle or someday needs to buy one (though I sincerely hope that day never comes), I highly recommend Tom and the Deer Park branch."

With his help and ALS Ride for Life we were able to secure a rental to take our mom whose been diagnosed with ALS to her clinic appointments as well give her a little bit of freedom.
