"Reserved a car for 9am. At 10am they still had no car for me. They said they had cars available that needed to be prepped. Nevertheless they would give no estimate for when I would get my car. Now I will be late for my appointments but can not tell people how late. That makes me look bad. Never again will I use Budget. By the way it's not even busy. 10:30 I'm still waiting. They claim they have many cars and 4 people working on prepping them. Why should it take over 1.5 hours to prep a car? There are 6 customers waiting for cars now. Seems they are lying to us. Why won't they tell us what's really going on?"

"This was my first time renting from Budget. I usually rent from Enterprise but they wanted way too much money to rent a minivan. I saved over $1,000 by renting from Avis. The two women at this location were wonderful. One even provided some recommendations for places to visit during our trip to FL. And the van was brand new. Only 800 miles and very clean. I will definitely return. Thank you!!"

"Never rent from Budget. Their customer service employees are rude at the Islip Airport. Her name was Janet and she refused to speak slower as we requested, as I am hearing impaired. I was appalled at her attitude towards a handicapped senior citizen. Very overpriced rental car also."

"Terrible experience. Before you hand your card to Joann make sure she explains to you what she is charging your card for. She was very rude and unhelpful. She just charged my car and try to hand me keys without explaining anything to me about the charges and when asked had the nerve to get upset because she didn’t want to perform her job to the best of her abilities. She was dismissive and when I asked for a manager I did not get help. I booked & paid online & opt-ed in for the market fuel but I wasn’t sure how that worked, just keep saying she didn’t know anything. She needs retraining or retirement. Since the pandemic all these “service” places have been lacking on service but quick to take more and more money. PLUS The car I rented was not in the location I was told it would be in for pick up. So I had to again help myself. Do you clean the rental cars anymore? It was filthy the front window had streaks and everything. I wish I could’ve left a great review but there was honestly NOTHING great about the experience."
