Budget Car Rental

"We had a horrible experience with Budget truck rental this past weekend. We went into the facility to learn that our truck was not ready and had to come the next day (luckily we had breathing room on our trip). This is budget’s policy. There isn’t a guarantee that our truck would be there day of pick up, it’s just a preference. When we signed our agreement with Budget we asked to confirm that we had insurance and the individual at the front desk said “it looks like you have insurance”. There was barely any time to review the document and we signed it only to learn much later on that there was in fact no insurance on the truck (which we would’ve been happy to pay for.) When we asked about a handtruck, the individual who was helping us said that there were no handtrucks and that we hadnt asked for one. I made her re-check the document to which she re-iterated that we had insurance and only after pushing AGAIN did she see the handtruck payment. I will not be renting a budget truck again, from this location or elsewhere."

"Overall don't rent from budget but if you do, take pictures of the inside and out of the cars. They charge you for vacuuming. We got charged for animal hair and excessive dirt when we did not transport any animals. Yes there is some sand because we went to the beach but nothing that can't be vacuumed easily. They are cheaper because they charge you with cleaning fees. This is the location I rented the car from and they didn't charge the previous renter for animal hair and now I'm getting charged."

"These folks had a car I returned weeks ago, and still have not closed it out. I reached out to corporate and they lacked the resources to assist with this matter to complete the transaction. I’m getting harassed by Budget about a car that has been in their possession at least 3 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE!"
