Enterprise Rent-A-Car

"Was denied service because I declined to put down a second phone number at the time of pick-up. Mind you, I’ve rented from this location at least three other times in the past three months and was never asked for a second phone number. I also never complained about the cars I was given during those prior rentals - one reeked of cigarette smoke and the last one started shaking once you accelerated above 60 mph. Today, after I was told that they would “not be moving forward with the reservation,” I spoke with Enterprise customer service and confirmed that this location (Eastchester Road) does not require a second phone number to be provided. You can rent from the Hertz down the block for a much more decent experience."

"Generally, I've had good experiences with Enterprise at other locations, but my recent experience at the Eastchester Road location was disappointing. I booked a minivan in advance for six people, including a pregnant woman and an infant. However, we had to wait for two hours because they didn't have a minivan available when we arrived. This makes me question the point of booking early. They initially tried to push us into a smaller car, which was unsuitable for six people and had no luggage space. When we refused, they made us wait until they arranged a minivan that had been out for servicing. This delay cut into our travel time and left the baby irritable. The minivan we finally received was a base model with several features not working properly. Traveling with a baby and a pregnant woman in a faulty car was a significant risk. Despite seeing bigger cars on the lot, we were told they were damaged, only to see one of them later given to another customer. Overall, I was dissatisfied with how we were treated and the lack of reliable service. I have been treated much better at the nearby Hertz, and I doubt I'll return to this Enterprise location."

"The staff is very nice, they eagerly answered questions etc…we picked up the SUV we wanted. Drop off process was good too. Marcus took care of that and made sure we didn’t leave anything behind in the car. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. Rental with a debit card is a little more meticulous but credit is faster. All went well."

"As always best place for me to rent a car. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, pleasant and the wait is not long. We used them even in Puerto Rico and AZ. This is our go to place for any of our rentals. Let me not forget beautiful reliable car's."

"Jay was great, especially on a day they were clearly understaffed and in high demand. I rented a compact, and they ended up giving me Ford Edge at no charge since there were no compact cars available. My only areas with issues - I had to wait for the car to get an oil change and to be washed, and it was already 45 minutes after my intended time of departure. I ended up skipping the car wash because time was a factor.And being an Enterprise Plus member, it would be nice if an early return and full tank of gas (3/4 more than I left with) were credited for my next rental. Otherwise, great experience on a wildly busy Saturday, treated with the utmost respect and kindness."
