"Most of the experience was fantastic. Had a very good car (Toyota). Check in process was quick and perfect by Chris and his associate. As was the check out process. I give only 4 stars because they don't have EZ Pass tags on their cars. I misunderstood what the associate told me and took 5 tolls thru the EZ Pass lane until my son reminded me I had to pay them in cash. So, now I'm going to get 5 traffic tickets plus the toll amounts on my credit card because of this. It would definitely be easier for the consumer to have the EZ Pass in the car and just be billed afterwards. Just a suggestion. Thanks for everything else. Great customer service."

"Picked up our rental on Thursday evening from the Yonkers location. An associate, Diamond called me in advance to give me a quick run down of things needed for pick up so I came prepared. At pickup, the gentleman that helped me was great and efficient. We started our drive Friday, and caught a flat shortly into the drive. I had hoped for it to be a quick flat fix, but it wasn’t so simple. I called the Yonkers office and the associate directed me to the nearest enterprise so I could get an exchange done. Although our trip was delayed, the exchange was easy and stress free. At drop off, we did the usual quick inspection and they sent me on my way. I opted in the CDW coverage and extended it an extra day, the cost was still reasonable for an 11 day rental with unlimited miles. EVERYONE (I wish I got their names) I came into contact with from enterprise, from Yonkers to PA, were wonderful, attentive and efficient. Definitely will rent from them again."

"I have used Enterprise many times and unfortunately did not experience the same standard of service at this particular location. The staff was friendly, but the check-in process took far longer than I have ever experienced at other locations, and there appeared to be a lot of back and forth. There was no clear queue as to who was next in line and I was led out to the car only to have to wait another 10 minutes or so before I could actually drive off. Overall, the process took about 45 minutes when it usually (at other locations) takes less than 5, so keep that in mind if you are booking a car here. Also, the car I got was pretty dinged up, which wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but I am used to seeing cars in better condition with Enterprise. It looked as though it had not been cleaned between drives. Also, there was very limited inventory. If you want more flexibility as to what car you can book (and the condition it is in), I recommend going elsewhere. Side note, this isn't the fault of Enterprise, but both during check in and check out, there were several boisterous customers cussing/venting etc. The staff handled it well, but this may be something to keep in mind if checking in with young children or otherwise trying to avoid a stressful experience."

"If I could give less than a 1 star I would. 1. They took to the Central Park Ave Location because of inventory. First Car they gave me had a broken driver seat. Had to switch cars. 2. Second car I asked if it had apple car play and someone walked by stating all cars have it and quickly dismissed my request. It did not. Not wanting to switch cars again I accepted the car but it was the dirties car I ever drove. I gave photos to ECR Rep but they choose to do nothing with them. Photos Attached. 3. Had to switch car for something cleaner, was given a 3rd car that the wheel alignment was so off but I drove it anyway so I was not seen as difficult. After two weeks I finally had to switch it because it was not safe to drive. When telling the ECR Rep about it, he stated "they were not mechanics and it is very hard to get cars". 4. Finally got the last car and although better, car not clean and floor of car had a big whole in it. I wiped the inside with wipes and it was by far not clean. 5. Left a review and they said someone would contact me....more then a week later no one. I finally called the 1800 number and I was told "it will be 3-5 business days for someone to contact me". Called the branch Manager requesting a Regional Manager call me today....heard nothing. I have been a long time ECR customer, but no longer. Where is the customer service they once had? Once a great company with a clean and well maintained cars has turned into a poor excuse of a rental company."
