Enterprise Rent-A-Car

"When we went to pick up the minivan, we were told all their minivans were recalled, and we were given the option of a Highlander or an Atlas, the Atlas had a bigger trunk so we went with that. My husband was upset as we were planning to use all the minivan seats with our extended family on vacation, and it’s much more of a pain to use the 3rd row seating in a smaller suv. When we were driving, the low coolant light came on repeatedly so we were stopping constantly to make sure the car wasn’t overheating, it was silly and annoying. My 4 yr old son found a marijuana pen under the backseat. The whole experience was fairly disappointing except for the girl that rented us the vehicle, she was friendly and courteous. She gave us a refund for one out the eight days we had it for the inconvenience. We made it from point A to point B, but not without issue."

"I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Amherst location. They provided me with a car that was only half-filled with gas but charged me for a full tank when i returned the car. To make matters worse, I wasn't informed about these charges until my insurance declined the rental car charges. The customer service was extremely poor throughout the entire process. I expected better communication and transparency from a company like Enterprise. Based on this experience, I would not recommend renting from this location. Update: After contacting the enterprise, they agreed to reverse the charges."

"Awful customer service experience. My wife came here right after dropping off her vehicle at the repair shop. She had arranged for a rental car the day before and even had a confirmation/reservation number. However, upon arrival, they informed her they had run out of vehicles and couldn't provide one for another 1-2 days. No nearby locations had vehicles either. What's the point of making a reservation if they don't honor it? It seems like the place is poorly managed because while we were there, they had other customers waiting with excuses like "this car just got new tires and an oil change, it'll be back in 15-20 minutes..." In the end, we went to Hertz and had a much better experience there."

"Every time I utilize Enterprise I have nothing but an experience with this company and its employees as well as the vehicles that they rent just no stars across the board. I can't say enough shady things about this location and their employees. they were real good at taking my money but they're not real good at issuing the deposit refund. Shame on this dirty illegal business practice and employees they think it's a good idea to steal from their customers to further their career"
