"After some time at the Long Island aquarium this little quaint spot is walking distance. It’s pretty quiet inside, lots of healthy choices as well as street food choices. Paid $80 for the meal in the photos. Would definitely recommend."

"I had a really good first meal at this cafe and as a foodie I can tell it’s really good. Then I read some comments below and noticed Some people just like to complain for the silliest things. People assume when you’re in a restaurant you just assume things everything is handed to you with just standing there. Obviously it’s a self serve cafe, it doesn’t hurt to ask how to do business w them. I like going in and eating in places like these as it’s so easy to go in and out without having to wait. They serve great food here, and I was served fine and good, people just complain too much for silly things"

"Restaurant is nicely renovated reminds me of Colombia. But food was not even up to par. I asked for grilled steak and I got this small pieces of steak ; half of them are burnt. On top of that I waited almost 20 mins for this. Not worth the wait plus the money almost 20 bucks for this"

"My girlfriend and I went in for lunch. I've been wanting to try them since they opened. I've heard good things. The place is really nice. They have a front seating area with tables, and a bar area towards the back. When we sat we were helped fairly quickly. The food came in a reasonable time. It was decent. The Shirley Fries were delicious with a lot of meat and cheese. The shredded beef burrito was okay. A lot of rice and not enough beef. But the taste was good. The real issue came after we received our food. We were not spoken to again forth remaining time we were there. We had planned on staying and having drinks after. We had to get up and fins someone to ask for the bill. We weren't asked how anything was, if we needed anything, more drinks, etc. We sat for a while waiting. After about 35+ minutes that's when we asked for the bill and left. It wasn't busy at all. And there were at least 5 people working. So I don't know what the issue was, but it became frustrating. So I don't know if I'd recommend it or if I'd go back. Hopefully this issue is a one off."

"I’ve been here a few times and had several items off the menu and they’ve always been delicious. Today we had the Mofongo with Chicharrón and the Dominican style Patacon. Both were amazing but that Mofongo is one of the best ones I’ve ever had! And that sauce for it!! Delicious!!! Definitely stop in and try anything off the menu. You’ll be in for a treat!"
