"Let's start off that I continuously try quite a few places for Chicken & Rice from various Street Carts and Restaurants over the years but this has to be one of the worst dining experience yet! When we entered, the gentleman taking our order seems lackadaisical and had to clarify a few times about the contents of my order. Please keep this in mind, only one other customer waiting with me and it took over 30 minutes to receive my order for just two platters. Finally received my order and that was just the start of my poor dining experience. Me and father couldn't eat in peace because there's an abundance of flies that's absolutely ridiculous and keep flying around our food and the entire restaurant! I spent half my time shooing away flies from our food. Now let's get to the quality of food. I ordered a mixed Platter and I can't express how highly disappointed I am. The lamb and chicken was very tough and chewy, it's the first time in awhile I didn't finish my meal. Also when compared to other similar halal platters, it's noticeably less than what you get. I will give credit their whiting fish is surprisingly good. Last but not least, it's not worth the price at all. I ordered 2 platters, 2 bottles soft drinks and side of pita and everything came up $31 and that's pricey for what you're getting (less food) and disappointing quality."

"The food is bomb! Huge servings & great prices. Very kind and accommodating. Also i need to mention that the buns are of great quality and have the perfect softness. Try the zinger burger, i loved that a lot."

"I really, really enjoyed the chicken and rice platter, Halal cart style. There are only three tables so it’s more of a to-go place, but we dined in anyway and the new owner, Rahm, took care of us. He said he bought the restaurant in 2023 after literally jumping on a US military plane leaving Kabul and made it to the States! Now he’s hustling to get established and bring his family over - you couldn’t ask for a better person to support. Soon a new tandoor oven will be installed to make fresh naan and more Indian food, so the menu will evolve a little. The portions were large, the sauces were great, and I’ll be checking it out again when back in town!"

"Fahim & Sahar are terrific and most helpful and enthuastic. A brand new place, Halal Bite is a great spot for Halal, right in the heart of Coram. Also try the combos, sandwiches and platters. A Halal delight and a must visit. Very Clean and well kept. Becoming very popular with local patrons. Mention you saw Halal Bite on Google Maps and recieve a free 20oz soda with purchase of a platter."
