Jimmy John's

"I was excited to visit this location since it’s relatively new to the tri-state area to have any Jimmy John’s, but my excitement lasted for about five seconds after walking in. This establishment from the outside looks new however upon walking in, the floor is littered with garbage and the trash bin as one can see, has not beencleaned out since morning. They cannot be busy because it’s a Sunday afternoon 6 PM and there’s only two customers inside dinning and the pick up station had zero sandwiches on it. I don’t know where to begin regarding the Sandwich counter. The menu is subpar, but none of the toppings are visible, hidden behind an aluminum shield, so the customer has no idea what their choices can be had. I to lean over the counter and take a look to see what toppings were available . The two girls behind the counter were more excited about what they were going to do after work than actually pay attention to a customer standing right in front of them. Lastly, the price for a giant sub is absurd. After tax it came out to $20.68 for an original number one. At that price you can go to many nearby deli in the Bayside area and get a much better sandwich for a lower price. Fool me once Jimmy John, but never again. This location is an abomination and it’s no wonder there are so many one star reviews. My advice to others reading this is DO NOT even bother. Take your business elsewhere."

"My experience at Jimmy John’s was FANTASTIC! 5 STARS! The male (older guy) that made the sandwiches for me was extremely polite and courteous and very patient with me as I was browsing the menu board before placing my order. I came in the evening hours between 6-8pm and the service speed was quick and top notch from beginning to end! I ordered the Spicy East Coast Italian Sub 8” & a Firecracker Wrap. Both were delicious and I felt the value I paid for them were justified with the amount of meat and overall size of the sandwiches. The Jimmy John’s location is shared with Dunkin Donuts as well, and there’s ample parking in their lot! I’ll be back soon!"

"Ordered giant #16 club lulu and it hardly had any turkey when I got home. If I wanted bread for lunch I would've went to a bakery and spent $23 there. The feedback for the jimmyjohns site doesn't work after submitting btw."

"Hmmm where do I begin. How do I even describe the odd interactions w the employees. The person at the register didn’t seem to know anything about the sandwiches he was ringing up. It was extremely awkward. There was another employee in the restroom coughing out a lung for about 15 minutes and calling out from inside and I asked if she was ok and their responses were so blank. When I looked as the door opened I saw her sitting on the bathroom floor. It seemed like someone handed her an asthma pump or something and then she seemed to stop coughing. I asked again if she was okay and again another blank stare with a blank answer. I felt like I was among zombies. Now the sandwiches I ordered are okay. Enough cold cuts and filling, but the bread seem like it’s either underbaked or something is off with the ingredients or it’s made of paper because it’s a very off texture for hero bread. Very off. Not sure if I’ll ever try again."

"Came here due to craving JJ and was shocked it was in NYC since I had it twice in Florida. The service was good but the sandwich preparation was a bit slow and I was surprised because I was the only customer. The sandwich was good but I think the server added oil & vinegar when I just wanted vinegar because my sandwich was wet. Also, I had to push in the cheese as it was outside the sandwich. Overall it wasn’t bad but I hope next time the cheese is inside the sandwich and I don’t get oil."
