"poor layout, agree with long line complaints 100%. I left what I had picked out to purchase just to see the long line. You are losing a lot of business due to this reason, please hire more staff and organize the store better. I miss the Walt whitman rd. NR location. It was huge and calm."

"I’m a card carrier for 7 years. New store in Bay Shore. Most times I go in to shop long line and few cashiers. I have to leave. Very disappointing for a Nordstrom’s store. I visited the store today, there were 14 customers on line and 1 cashier. I had to leave. I received your response and it seem like the same response to all the other complaints. I’ll try one more time to visit your Bay Shore store . If there is no improvement I will not have any other option then to shred my card. Guess your big losing a customer does not seem important. Good day!!"

"The lay out of this store is horrible. The racks are so close to each other that you can barely walk around without bumping into people. I went on a Saturday, but then returned on a Tuesday to see if it would be any better. Not at all! It’s as if they are trying to cram as many things as they possibly can into one small store. It’s really a shame."

"In the first few days of its opening, this new store was showing the traditional great Nordstrom customer service. That said, the store is poorly laid out making it challenging to browse. I’m back two weeks later and the layout is still annoying and the checkout line is ridiculously long. Two cashiers for a line of 16 plus people is disappointing. Wait… now we’re down to one cashier. Ridiculous. And did I mention the horrible music being piped in?!"
