"Fabulous location (when the carillon is not clanging away at 6 pm ( my decibel meter registered 98 then) . A great spot for a sunset drink. Tapas made in the food truck nearby were pathetic and overpriced. Food needs serious improvement and to much plastic!"

"Great location and good selection of drinks. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I'm concerned about the amount of single-use plastic at 3 taps. The trash cans are always overflowing with plastic. Reducing/eliminating this waste would be a great way for Chautauqua to practice what it preaches with regards to Sustainability. I won't be returning to 3 taps until this situation improves."

"This hidden gem is such a nice addition to the Chautauqua grounds. Located at the base of the bell tower on the shore of the lake, it’s a relaxing venue peppered with Adirondack chairs and fire pits in the afternoon and early evening, although it gets pretty loud and busy as the night wears on. While the 3 Taps itself serves only drinks, the food truck that’s regularly parked outside offers delicious snacks and light meals served up quickly, and their ordering system has been seamlessly integrated. I do find their drink list to be a little limited. Or maybe just dated? While they have a decent list of beers, both microbrew and big brand; a handful of wines; and an assortment of interesting cocktails (although I’ve never heard of gin in an Aperol spritz); there aren’t any ciders or seltzers (hard or soft), or even mocktails to be found. (They had a great cider last year but apparently decided not to reorder it this season.) Still, definitely worth a visit!"

"A small bar within the Chautauqua enclave, with a large outdoor patio - Adirondack chairs, low tables - by Lake Chautauqua. Good service, food prepared by an adjacent food truck. Popular, pricey, but everything is at Chautauqua. It is good place to unwind from the place you went to - to unwind from the place you came from."

"It would be an absolutely lovely atmosphere if they got rid of the food truck outside the most iconic spot (Miller Bell Tower) in Chautauqua. 8/10/22 Update: I noticed this evening that the truck was moved to the left of the bell tower. Though it’s still not as it should be, it’s at least not obscuring the landmark. I hope today wasn’t a fluke."
