"My husband and I traveled from PA to go to a concert here and the event page was extremely misleading. We showed up at 10pm because that’s what time it said the event started and it turns out the doors opened at 10pm and there was barely anyone there. After not seeing the artist we traveled to see after 2 hours we checked the artist’s instagram and it said that they would be coming on at 1:30am - 3 1/2 hours after the event was listed as starting. We ended up leaving at midnight because we didn’t want to wait around another hour and a half to see the artist we actually came for. The event space itself is nice but having a set list posted ahead of time would create a better experience for everyone."

"Edit - I highly suspect the venue is manipulating reviews with fake commenters. Listen. I’m a huge fan of concerts, small venues, and local organizers but this is a straight up money grab. You’re lured in by cheap tickets but a lack of instructions and transparency lead you to believe that the event starts at a specific time when in actuality that is when the doors open. Then you spend several hours waiting around for the event to start while being charged $22 for rail drinks ($40 for a double!!) in the middle of Ivy City. The “cheaper” bar is $20 rails. 2 hours in and we felt like the DJ was just wasting time so we left without seeing who we’d paid for. It’s honestly outrageous. If the organizers do read this - more transparency around when the doors open versus when the event starts and more reasonably priced drinks (sub $15 rails) would be the best way to resolve these issues. Besides that, the space is cool. It has so much potential if the organizers/owners would address some of the complaints that myself and others have shared."
