They explained to her that we did not need all the work that I was requesting, performed an inspection, and charged a reasonable price. Very happy with their service, recommended, and will return."

"Called CMZ came and gave us a great quote, everything was fine until the day of the scheduled repair. ( mind you that was set up quite a few weeks in advance ) First, he was supposed to show up at 9…Around 930 he finally calls saying he has to finish a job elsewhere first and will be there at 1130. Ok we wait… 1130 he isn’t here, calls and says that he doesn’t think he’s gonna be able to match the bricks to make our chimney look good. You mean, for the job you should have been prepared for, the job you should have been at, 3 hrs ago??! How did you not realize matching will be a problem when you gave a quote? Blows my mind. Then proceeds to tell us we need to go pick out our own bricks from the factory in Youngstown…. If I had time for this I would not have hired a “professional”. Never again."

"Mike and company did an amazing job. An old century home in Jefferson, was nearly impossible to get a chimney / brick contractor to call me back not to mention they are far and few between. From the initial conversation, throughout inspection, and upfront pricing they provided a written estimate and explained what was going to be done and why. Mike gave us a timeline, weather permitting lol, and the crew showed up daily on time and worked a solid day every time. They took extra care too protect everything around the demo area and made sure the worksite was tidy up daily. Mike was quick to secure a generous amount of brick selections for us to choose from. From demolition to the rebuild and tying in the necessary liners, every step of the way was explained. Communication was key as well when coming into the home and care was taken to minimize dust and cleanup. Upon completion, the small details were also addressed. CMZ chimney did an amazing job, professional work, and gave us peace of mind with a brand new, updated brick chimney. Will certainly call on these guys again"

"CMZ repaired my chimney after a fire in 2016. Then I had a chimney sweep(different company I usually used) come out and he did a camera inspection in 10/23 and found that the chimney liner was not installed properly. I called CMZ to inform them that their work from 2016 was found to be incomplete. Mike, the owner of the company, was extremely apologetic and stated that he had a difficult employee back then. He was extremely nice and never defensive and he said that he’d do anything to correct this problem and make me happy. He said I’d be about 3 wks out on his schedule but they ended up out here about a week later and sent pictures of the completed work. Mike, you were great to deal with on this matter. Keep up the great service that you provide."

"Just got CMZ to do some brick work, and a new Buck 74 installed. Mike and Chuck are good guys, their Sons who work with them as well. Awesome professional family business! Will definitely recommend to friends and Family. Already excited how well this is warming our home. Very happy."
