Slammers

"Slammers is one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere has an energy about it that is indescribable. We went there before a comedy show on a Wednesday night and had a great time. We got roped into some trivia and had a few drinks. My wife didn’t like the chicken tenders. That was the only complaint. The indoor bar is super cool and the patio is really nice! Its a very inviting place that feels like a bar that would belong in NY or Toronto. Can’t wait to go back!"

"We came in late night (1230 am) to grab some food because downtown food options are lacking. Bartenders acted like me and my gf didnt exist for a good ten minutes despite standing at an ordering station, no line, only semi-busy for a friday night. we finally got to order then Our pretzel sticks and corndog bites were burned. I had to peel the outside of the pretzels off to get a couple bites. Same with my gfs corndogs. all of our food was pre-cooked, then re-heated in an oven or salamander after we ordered."

"Went for trivia night with some friends and had a great time! The host for trivia was super fun and engaging. I ordered the pickle pizza, and it was really good. It did take a while to come out, but it was super busy, so it's totally understandable, and it was worth the wait."

"This is a nice place to just let your hair down it has a great atmosphere to just let go n have fun. The food was delightful I had pizza n it was done to perfection they have ice cold water self serve that was convenient this is a nice service for me because when I'm done drinking beer I want water.. the only thing I didn't to much care about is they had all the TVs up so loud a person can't hear themselves think also it would've been nicer too have some music playing instead of having so many different TV channels playing at once. Also the entrance is so narrow to walk in or out bumping people as a person passes by Would b so nice if somehow it could b widened up just a Lil more. Other than that it's a fun place with great food had a great time."

"I have been given recommendations that I should visit here, for quite awhile. I tried over Pride weekend, but it was too crowded and there was a line to enter. But, I knew this weekend would be different. I was at the convention center for an event, and decided to head to Slammers for a late lunch. The weather was decent and it was a nice 10-15 minute walk from the Hyatt Regency end of the convention center. It looks like an old neighborhood bar, with decent sized interior and exterior spaces. I ordered my usual well gin and tonic, and studied the menu. Good selection of appetizers and sandwiches. But I got intrigued by one of their specialty pizzas, The Bobbi. The usual sauce and cheese, but the other toppings were bacon, pineapple and sliced jalapenos. I am an adventurous diner, and looking for different tastes, and the sweet heat of this pizza really thrilled me. Drink price seemed on the high end, but I was served "tall" drinks, and I felt like I was drinking doubles, afterwards. So no complaint there, just you may have to pay more attention to how many drinks you are actually being served."
