"Overall experience was okay, I had high hopes since they came as a referral from my neighbor. I was quoted for 4 guys for 4 hrs with great rates and everything was explained nicely. Day of the move, they showed up almost 2 hours later than the window, it off to a rough start. Seemed like two experienced guys with two newer movers. I even moved with them the whole day to offload some of the items. Started out strong but fizzled out because they were so burned out halfway through. Im sure they were starved by the end of it. For the most part the crew was great, with some minor issues. I felt bad for them. At one point, it took all four of them to assemble one bed where a couple of them were literally just sitting there holding a part of the frame. I didn’t make a fuss since I’m sure they were tired. Ultimately added a lot of extra time to the job. I think it was quoted wrong or they needed more man power. You could tell everyone slowed down for the second half. By the end, the job took more than double the original quote. I ended up paying more than any other company’s quote too. I don’t know if it was a gross miscalculation or what but they were highly rated. I even helped and did not stop as well. So even with the extra help it still took 9 hours, when I was originally quoted 4. I understand adding an extra hour or two but 5 extra hours just seemed excessive. It would’ve been 1 star for how off they were and having to pay more than double my original quote, but the company made a small effort to help so they got two stars. I wish the whole experience was better. I felt slightly duped on pricing when by the end of it I could’ve paid a lot less with most other quotes. They either needed a bigger crew or better organization to work more efficiently for certain jobs."
