"I was seen at the Cool Springs location. Rushed exam, had another doctor administer injections and she did not inform me of possible side effects of treatment even when directly asked about them. Dismissed me when I did in fact have side effects. Put wrong information in medical record and ignored my 3 requests to change it."

"His office staff are excellent & quite nice. The medical resident gave a thorough exam & listened to my concerns. I feel like Dr McMillan didn't listen to my concerns or take much time to look at my MRI. My podiatrist (not this doctor) was initially informed that MRIs were normal. He reviewed the MRIs personally and said there several issues with swelling in the ball & toes of the foot. I have been living with this pain for 1.5 years & getting cortisone shots to manage this pain. The cortisone shots are no longer working which is why I was referred to this surgeon. Dr McMillan referred me to an an anti-inflammatory & toe splint. I have taken over the counter anti inflammatory meds for months. They barely take the edge off. Don't waste your time if you have a soft tissue injury in the foot."

"Best podiatrist in Pittsburgh. Dr. McMillen takes time to listen to your problem and presents all options. He lets you know exactly what will work for you. I had my right toe fused 3 years ago and Dr. McMillen did an awesome job. Haven’t had any issues with that toe since. This past month he did my left toe and again did an outstanding job. He is so down to earth and treats you like family. Between the 2 surgeries I moved an 1 1/2 away but made the trip back to Pittsburgh just for him. Believe me, if you want the best foot doctor you need to see Dr. McMillen!"

"After unsuccessful home treatments for a plantar wart with Compound W, I made an appointment with Dr. Mcmillen. I was seen for a total of 5 minutes. Dr. Mcmillen was rather condescending during the appointment and all he did was scrape some skin off the affected area and use a q-tip to apply a small amount of acid. No cryotherapy was performed and I was provided with no prescriptions for further treatment. He told me to continue using Compound W at home until the wart went away. I was astounded when I received a bill for $324 (after insurance). I called the health system and they told me that I was being charged for a procedure and a new patient fee (that I was never made aware of until after the fact). I find it hard to believe that scraping some skin off and putting on some acid is considered a procedure - it took maybe 30 seconds. Now 4 months later I am out $324, I have been using Compound W and I still have the wart. I will definitely not return to this practice and would assign zero stars for ineffective treatment and exorbitant charges."
