The Clayton Opera House

"Thoroughly enjoyed the Candlelight Vivaldi Concert at the Clayton Opera House. The musicians were extremely talented, making the difficult works of Vivaldi look easy. It was a pleasure to watch them in the engaging theater filled with flickering candles."

"The venue is small enough that every seat is an okay seat. The balcony sides are vosionmibstructed no matter where you sit, so please be aware. The ticket buying system is weird. Had a party of two and we were seated separate on either side of an aisle. Not great or even good at all. Cash only concession but reasonably priced. If you attend, choose center seating. For either orchestra or balcony The chairs in the orchestra section appear to be on the same level so height may be an issue."

"Nice venue, guys vibe. The sound system was adequate, not great. Pretty warm and was not a hot day. You had better know where to sit as a lot of blocked or hindered view of stage. I'd only go back in cool weather with better seats. We sat to the side, there was a column blocking the center of stage, as told, my bad...I wasn't prepared for the light in my eyes..."

"First time here on July 26, 2023. Saw The High Kings. Fantastic group from Ireland. They received a warm welcome by all, including having a sold-out show. Wonderful old concert house. The balcony area was a bit warm though an overall excellent experience."
