"Unreliable. Borderline rude. Just transferred to Walmart in Austintown and they were super nice, and had my rx in stock. Would be nice if Rite Aid would order you medication when you have been going there 15 years !"

"This pharmacy absolutely sucks! Specifically, the young, ignorant pharmacist with the bald head. They constantly tell you one thing and then do another and they are constantly two days behind schedule. I went there yesterday to make sure my prescriptions would be ready today by 5pm and they told me that it wouldn’t be a problem and that they would definitely have them ready. I go there today and the young guy with the bald head whose name I’ll get and post about tomorrow when I go back told me that I can’t pick up my prescriptions until tomorrow. He specifically said it’s a “me thing” meaning that even though my prescriptions were due to be refilled today he just chose not to fill him and the only thing I can think of is that he has something against me personally. Maybe I did something to him somewhere and somehow in the past and I just don’t recall. I can’t think of any other reason that this kid would have it out for me. Just rest in knowing that I will continue to put this pharmacist and this man on blast until something is done. I will also tell everyone I come in contact with until my dying day how poorly this pharmacy treats their customers and how ridiculously slow they are. I specifically made these arrangements because I am going out of town for a while due to a family emergency but they obviously don’t care very much about my well being or the well being of those that I care about. Keeping in mind, I tried to transfer these medications, too, but being that Vyvanse is apparently a controlled substance I can’t just transfer it and pick it up when I get to New Jersey which would’ve been a semi reasonable alternative. Now my family has to suffer because of this kids ego and ignorance. That’s fine. This is by far not the last time they will here from me until something is done to accommodate me for this major unjustified inconvenience and this kid is reprimanded in some way. Both of these prescriptions were last filled on 4/9/24 so their is absolutely no reason what so ever that I shouldn’t be able to pick them up today. That’s all for now. The name of the pharmacist that did me wrong is Brandon Miller. It gets worse. I went in today to pick up the prescriptions and I was again told that I couldn’t pick up my Vyvanse until tomorrow. Brandon obviously went into the computer and changed it around so I would have to wait yet another day. I’m sure this happened after I called yesterday to get his full name and told them that I needed it to file a formal complaint with their corporate office. They wouldn’t tell me his name by the way but I got it another way. Like I originally said, my Vyvanse was last filled on 4/9/24 so why wouldn’t I be able to pick it up on 5/8/24. Brandon obviously has a personal vendetta against me for reasons unknown and in 13 years, in 3 states, and a ton of different pharmacies and pharmacists I have NEVER had this problem or been treated so poorly. Thank God I didn’t have to change a flight and thank God no one was dying back home. A gross and negligent lack of concern for another humans well being is certainly not the kind of character trait a pharmacist should have. Yet, here we are."

"The pharmacy staff is very clearly overworked. This does not make a good impression of the people at corporate rite aid."

"Most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Not only do they lie about billing insurance, they don't even allow you to speak to the pharmacist. Prescriptions have never been ready by the time THEY have given me, even when I go the following day! They never answer the phone when you call and after you have been rerouted to the beginning of the prompt for 18 times, when they finally do answer they are always short and disrespectful. When they are suppose to contact the doctor for refills, 4 days later, they still haven't contacted the doctor and now I have missed 4 days of my Parkinson's meds."

"My mom has an infection and her provider called the medicine into the incorrect pharmacy. We have been calling for what is now close to HOURS and the only people who answer the phone are the store employees (who are always excellent, by the way). I am now waiting in a line that is moving at a snail’s pace (I moved about 2 car spaces in 10-15 minutes and there are still 4 cars ahead of me) and my mom probably won’t even be able to get her medication tonight. I am willing to bet they just take the phone off the hook because I called REPEATEDLY for around 45 minutes and that’s enough to annoy any normal human being enough to answer. The PHARMACY either needs more staff or more customer service training. It’s clear by the reviews that this is a longstanding and ongoing problem. I shouldn’t have been tied up for HOURS just to CHECK if my mom’s prescription is even at this store. The excuse is always “oh, they’re so busy.” My job is incredibly busy too and if I took my work phone off the hook for hours, I’m sure I’d be disciplined. It is so incredibly rude to just ignore customers like that — ZERO customer service skills! Also … learn to prioritize. Wait on customers IN ORDER, not 3 people inside if the people in the outside line were first. Very simple customer service 101 etiquette that obviously isn’t happening."
