Days Inn by Wyndham New Philadelphia

"One of the worst places we have ever stayed. Room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling that was actually coming down in the bathroom. Cold shower. Curtains torn and hanging half off. My husband had flee or bedbug bites on his neck and in his hair. Breakfast was a paper bag with warm water and a snack bar. The two beds in the room are right against the wall and the other against the heater/AC. Please do not ever consider staying there. I tried to contact the owner when we got home the next day but the number on our bill was not a working number. Opened a case with Wyndham directly. A real dump."

"With the utmost respect, this place is a dump! Where do I start? The service at the front desk was awful. The hotel rooms were disgusting. I got moved three times, each room got worse and worse. One room had a clogged toilet, the next room had blood stains on the pillows and used dental floss on the bedside table. The final room had towels in the washroom to indicate that someone had just finished taking a shower. The gentlemen working the front counter came into the first room and fluffed up the blood stained pillows and threw the dental floss on the floor behind the bed. Absolutely disgraceful. It ended up that I cancelled my stay at Days Inn and went to another hotel close by with immaculate rooms and incredible customer service. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay here! It will save you time, money a headache and perhaps even a communicable disease."

"Room was not clean. Black mold in the room. All the sheets and towels had yellow stains on them. Dont recommend this place at all"

"Our bed was very comfortable, although it was pushed up against the wall forcing the sleeper on the wall side to crawl across the bed. The mini refrigerator apparently went on defrost mode during the night and there was water over a good bit of the floor. The smoke detector, in a cage to prevent tampering, was in two pieces."

"In terms of value I find this location to be the best available in the area. Rooms are clean, mattresses are new and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. The only place(s) that are less expensive are places you really don't want to stay at. It's quiet, the rooms have the usual amenities like a TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, showers, etc. There isn't any breakfast but they do have vending machines and an ice machine. Plus, there's tons of restaurants nearby. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to rest your head for a fare that's more than reasonable, this is your best bet. They also accept cash for payment which is becoming a rarity these days, and the location is great too. Not far from the highway, close to downtown and all the usual shopping spots."
