Reviews
"Beautiful facility with a wide variety of amenities! The lower half of the building is a mall. There are a couple restaurants, post office, laundry mat, convenience store. All the employees are very helpful as well!"
"This business believes in spending your money and summarily wasting it. The amount of fees and the overall cost incurred by families to have their loved ones cared for here is channeled into a tremendous amount of bureaucracy and red tape. There are number of nay sayers and individuals in leadership who believe in the concept of "can't." If there are people in need, whether residents of St. Barnabas or those in the community, you can be sure that they won't get help here."
"Upper management doesn't listen to their own mid-level managers (who do care but are limited by the management above them) or residents. More interest in buying extremely conservative radio station and more property than investing in the properties and staff that they have. Consider them a "for profit" business with little caring. Mom was a resident for 8 years. I don't recommend the place. Food is institutional, service extremely slow and boring - good chefs come and aren't allowed to make changes and leave - again, due to upper management. Search elsewhere."
"St Barnabas has been a blessing to our family. My FIL moved in 9 months ago and loves it. Apartments at the Villages have been updated and are gorgeous. Plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. We all enjoy the restaurants and food when we visit. Medical center is conveniently located and doctors are wonderful. Barney bus available regularly for shopping trips and other outings. Highly recommend!"
"My grandparents are really happy here. They rave about the staff and have made really good close connections here with other residents. There's a shopping mall that runs along the entire bottom floor that provides everything you could need. There's even a restaurant that who's is glass and be prepared that paints are required. The restaurant has a different special every night and the food is very good with nice portion sizes. There is even a small post office. From a distance it seems to be well run secure, with friendly staff with a wealth of knowledge and very supportive. Their rooms and apartments are very good size and have plenty of storage space. I am extremely excited for my grandparents to be living here the way they are. Especially with my grandfather starting to slow down it's good for my grandmother to make new friends and she and her friends enjoying great conversation and wine."
