Hartwood Corners

"I have purchased several pieces from here since the shop opened. The owner usually seems a bit uncordial, but I let it pass, thinking she might be having a rough day or something. However, over the past 2 years when I've stopped in 6x or so, I leave shaking my head. The proprietor is not very friendly, doesn't even say 'hello' when entering the shop. Does it cost anything to smile and properly greet a customer? Several times I've asked about prices and she tells me 'it's sold' . Then, take it off the floor or mark it sold. Just not a very pleasant experience."

They also have excellent books for sale. The added bonus is the wine bar attached. After a hard day of antiquing one needs refreshment."
