"Was impressive for about a week, then the produce section started looking more rotten and bare. No bakery, no fresh seafood, all prepackaged meat. Employees mostly standing around chatting with each other in the middle of aisles. Had higher hopes for this addition to Alliance, but like most things in this town, pretty hum drum."
"I am honestly not certain what to think of Meijer. The prices are not cheap, the selection seems limited. The impression I got was they put a limited selection on the shelves to make it appear more selective or inclusive. The lady at the register was a wee rude, or maybe just felt comfortable enough to tell us she bought a similar fan for half the price elsewhere. It felt really odd having that conversation as we were checking out. The store was clean, the shelves were all faced well. If you are looking for a good meat selection I still think Giant Eagle Markets are a better choice, if you are looking for good selection of home goods, I feel like Target or Walmart are better choices. Everything here felt limited. Lastly, and this boggles my mind, they put all their trading cards in the back corner of the store. Whomever thought that was a good product placement is obviously not concerned about store thefts."
"Very beautiful and clean. All the staff were very nice. Customer service let me get change for their quarter machines without buying anything, which I really appreciate. My kids really enjoyed riding the 1 cent pony ride. I liked that they had a different selection of the frozen meals I like, but they are 40 cents more a piece than Walmart. And the game my son wanted to buy was $2 more than walmart. So we probably won't shop here often, but it is nice to have variety. Also, it was interesting to see that they offered an adult changing table in their family bathroom. I'd never seen anything like that but I'm sure it will benefit a large number of people in the community"
