"Absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. Has a huge problem speaking for and over the patients. Apperently returning phone calls for him is a huge favor and going above and beyond for his patients. Fought with him about my diagnosis and experience every interaction. Never educated me then got upset I did research online on a rare condition and got even more confused. Apparently he sent me notes to be educated with but I never received any information."
"Excellent physician. Excellent bedside manner. Excellent care. Extremely knowledgeable. Genuine concern and compassion for his patients. Sadly, at my last visit, I did not to see him unless I made a special request. I was only able to see his assistant who was excellent it just not the same. So sad that Erie has fewer and fewer doctors which causes greater workloads for those great ones who remain. Thank you for remaining in Erie. Dr. McGovern."

I am not a good patient for doctors but for Dr McGovern I will do what he say for me to do because I trust him and I believe he really knows what he is doing. His nurse Megan is wonderful as well.
