"Riding Canyon Lake with this company is a very good idea. A lot of information about the flora and fauna is conveyed via loudspeakers. A great time to enjoy the landscape."
"Driving to Canyon Lake was breathtaking. There were a lot of scenic drives and the last 8 mile was twisty, so drive slow. It was a fun and informative boat ride experience for me and my family. We arrived 30 minutes before our schedule. There were two lines. One for the reservation and the other was for the walk ins. There was already a long line ahead of us. Once it was my turn, I only had to tell my last name and the staff gave me a numbered ticket. The first 20 customers were called. We got to sit at the upper floor. Food and drinks were located at the lower floor and cash only. The captain was quite humorous and entertaining. We saw some bighorn sheep and hawks. It was an hour and a half boat ride you can relax. Downside was the AC on the upper deck was not working. There were fans but it was not a lot. Overall the family enjoyed it."
"What a great trip. Stunning scenery, free ice cold water. Can purchase snacks, drinks and alcohol. Nice friendly crew. Very informative. You are encouraged to walk around. AC and restrooms onboard. Tickets purchased online."
"This is a great tour my family and I loved the scenery.. it’s full of amazing views of the canyon.. we accidentally found The Dolly when we were researching the area since we were vacationing in the town of Pine Az…we knew we had to go there because my wife’s name is Dolly.. glad we went.. the views out there are just incredible.. I truly enjoyed my time there and I promise you.. you will too"
"The Dolly Steamboat trip through Canyon Lake was a wonderful adventure. A relaxing 90-minute boat ride through the canyon. The vantage point is unique compared to the many canyon over spots in the area. This was worth the trip, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Arizona. Either before or after the ride, be sure to check out Tortilla Flats and be sure to take the drive on the road past the town to see some beautiful areas. These are must do if you want to see the desert and canyons of Arizona!"
