Dr. Larry Stokar, born and raised in Oceanside, N.Y., brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice. He holds a B.A. in Biology from SUNY Buffalo and an M.D. from the Chicago Medical School, now known as Rosalind Franklin University. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Stokar became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1984. He later moved to Pittsburgh, where he served as Chief Resident in Dermatology and completed his dermatology residency, becoming board certified in Dermatology in 1987.

With a focus on skin cancer and medical dermatology, Dr. Stokar has been in private practice since 1987. He is also dedicated to educating the next generation of medical professionals, teaching residents from the UPMC Medical Center. Dr. Stokar is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Academies of Dermatology, and the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society.
