"I have went with my husband twice so far to see Dr. Nguyen. He has been one of the best specialists I have seen in a long time in terms of taking his time with you, inspiring confidence in his abilities and knowledge, and treating you with respect. He really takes his time to listen to you, to answer your questions, to reassure you, and to review previous symptom lists and medical tests. He gave the big picture of possible needed tests - only the EMG was at his office, the other tests were at other labs and medical facilities - and he only orders them if the initial tests do not show the cause of the problem. His staff has been pleasant to work with and insurance special approvals for certain tests were carried out. I have had experience with four other neurologists with other family members, and I was not impressed by any of them. As my dad used to say, "Someone has to graduate at the bottom of the bell curve." I think those doctors were at the bottom, but Dr. Nguyen was near the top of the bell curve."

"I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of the staff at this practice! They were incredibly rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. I called to schedule an appointment for my mom with Dr. Nguyen, and the person I spoke to refused to do so, citing the flimsiest pretext that my mother had seen a neurologist twenty years ago. When I requested to speak with the doctor or anyone else, she flat out denied my request. To make matters worse, when I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and abruptly ended the call. This kind of treatment could easily traumatize anyone, and it terrifies me to think that my mom might have to interact with someone like that. The attitude of this staff member is a reflection of the entire practice, and it's completely unacceptable."

"This is the worst Dr. I have ever met. He stated that I have a pinch L5 nerve and need to have it taken care ASAP. He never called in the order, his office cancelled my EMG appointment without notifying me. this is the worst!! find another Dr. also his staff is rude and not friendly at all!"

"My family member's experience visiting Dr. Nguyen was positive, until we needed his office to execute the necessary paperwork to coordinate with other healthcare providers (a radiologist and a pharmacist). In both cases it took multiple phone calls and persistent follow up by the patient to get partial results. The was very little accountability from the doctor or the receptionist. After multiple phone calls, we got none returned by Dr. Nguyen, and his staff was incompetent. The doctor gave poor instructions that were inconsistent with the procedures the staff follows. The receptionist does not return calls and will not allow patients to talk to the doctor under any circumstances. This has been our experience."

Nobody ever has time to complete reviews, but I felt compelled to share my opinion of Doctor Nguyen as a 5 Star doctor. I’m especially impressed in terms of his skill & compassion for people. Of note: the team of administrative assistants work well as a team to deliver friendly service. I highly recommend Doctor Thien Nguyen & his team."
