"I love this office. I went in terrified and they did a great job of explaining things to me so I wasn't afraid anymore. I was in the ER and he was making his rounds and saw my name on the board and came to check on me! I'm very happy with the treatment and the staff is wonderful."

"The NP working on Dr. Cotugno’s license caused injury due to not paying attention to medical history during treatment and ignoring my prior concerns. Dr. Cotugno called to follow up and seemed to care on the phone and told me I could see him, but then the office would not let me schedule with him or talk with him again citing “office policy” and claiming that the only reason I talked with him at all was because he was “on call that night” (….. it was daytime and he called me in response to my call to the office about the injury the day before). Apparently, he cannot see current patients - he can only accept new patients. I need to see a neurologist and not an assistant, therefore I have no choice but to go elsewhere to find some relief from the injury that this office caused and would not help with… I have been a patient there for years and am disappointed (and in a lot of pain). I recommend going somewhere else if you would like to be treated competently and kindly."

"He felt the need to answer his cell phone and just walk out without an explanation. He talked on his phone in the hallway laughing for at least 10 minutes. He didn’t even apologize when he returned. Also it seems he doesn’t want to touch you to examine you, like he’s a germaphobic. Last but not least he spends most of the time typing in notes about you than anything. Doesn’t really “ listen “. I’m switching to SW pa associates in neurology, they are raved about by anyone you talk to."

"I got dossmissed from the practice cause i felt i wasnt getti g proper tratment from dr.cogtugno. he is rude and doesnt care about his patients that are on medicare thru the county. I asked 3 times in 2 years about seeing another dr. In the practice and dr.cogtuno stopped that 3 times and on the 3rd request they dissmissed me from there office. And i take life sustaning medicine!!! He doesnt listen. He is in and out of his appointment with you in 2 minutes. Very rude him and his staff.NIGHTMARE.. Youll"

"Never will ever recommend this doctor. Not only did he not LISTEN his bedside manors were horrible!!! The fact he said, and I quote, 'There is nothing I can do for you. If you feel pain again tonight you need to go to a UPMC or Allegheny Hospital in downtown Pittsburgh.' This is after my fiance had been in the ER 3 times in 5 days because everyone was just giving pain medication and dismissing him! Clearly he is not even book smart to figure it out...but we did!!!"
