"i had an aide steal $600 and the agency did nothing except remove her from my home; she is still in others homes as far as I know. At that point I installed video cameras in my home. From yesterday I saw footage of the aide being on her phone texting several times after I specifically told her no phone use except for emergencies or the agency calling. I saw video clips of her NOT doing the stuff that was supposed to be done. This is supposedly a popular aide and I will say she is very nice. However, my insurance isn't paying for someone to be in here as a companion; they are paying for people to come into my home and do the work I tell them needs done. When I called the agency about the matter I was interrupted by Brandy more than once at which point I promptly interrupted her back and she got po'd at me over it and was saying if the stuff had been done the week before then it didn't need done again. I have allergies and cannot handle the dust so that is why a thorough dusting gets done weekly along with other cleaning. I was basically told the aides don't have to do what I assign them to do. I cannot and will not tolerate that disrepect in my home especially when government funds are paying for these people to be here and do the tasks I need done and do them properly. This place should be avoided at all costs unless you want aides who steal, lie, and attempt to deceive you."
