"Dr Carolyn P. Engle, MD: She performed carpole tunnel Surgery on both of my hands and I had no more problems with my hands since then. Plus she performed Surgery on a elderly friend of mine from church Bertha Johnson she needed a hip replacement other Doctors said it could not be done and Dr Engle did the surgery and Ms Johnson could walk again without pain for 3 to 4 years before she passed away!!!"

"Saw Dr. Engle for a labral tear after a car accident. She told me I would need arthroscopic surgery, and when I asked for further explanation, she said “look it up.” First personal experience with a doctor who seemed to care about efficiency and money more than being there for patients. Wish I could go back here because they’re the only orthopedic in-network for me but after that I’m not going back."

"Fell off a ladder a few months ago and my ankle has been painful to walk on ever since. She did a MRI and said there was nothing wrong but the written out description from the radiologist that did the MRI said that there was significant damage to at least one of my ligaments in my ankle. I asked for a referral for a second opinion. Turns out I tore a ligament and chipped my bone and need surgery to repair it. This was through worker’s comp so I’m guessing that’s why she insisted nothing was wrong."

"Dr. Engle was great during the in person patient visit. However when her office called for the diagnoses after MRIs for husband and me, I was referred and husband was left with basically, 'there is nothing Dr. Engle can do for you'. There were no helpful tips or recommendations. We went out and sought another opinion and he was full of helpful information. When we called to get our discs back, they said they could not locate our MRI discs and suggested we call the imaging office to request another copy. We called the place where we got our MRIs to get another copy and said it was going to be $30.00 each. We did not enjoy our experience here."

"The physicians here are nice which is why I gave two stars. The billing department is the worst I have ever had to deal with. On two different occasions I have been billed incorrectly. I understand human error but when you have to point it out several times over the course of several months it starts to get very annoying. Just recently I was incorrectly billed again because the office did not send the claim to the primary insurer but only to the secondary. I had pointed out in a previous call that the claim needed to be sent to the primary insurer. Shouldn't the billing department know that? Long story short, I received a bill saying my account would be sent to collections. Called my insurance company only to find out the office STILL had not sent the claim in properly. I will be following up with the insurance company to make sure the claim is submitted. Like I said this is not the first time but it is the last."
