About Dr. Zaid Khatib:

Dr. Khatib is a distinguished sports medicine physician and the program director of the sports medicine fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital. He has been practicing pediatrics since 2015 and sports medicine since 2017. He completed his pediatric residency and sports medicine fellowship at Akron Children’s after graduating from Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Khatib’s expertise includes musculoskeletal injuries, concussions, running injuries, joint and soft tissue injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, and sport-related illnesses and injuries. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both pediatrics and sports medicine and is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
