Dr. Anthony Berdis is a highly skilled sports medicine physician and orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, hip, and knee conditions. Since joining Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates (YOA) in 2020, Dr. Berdis has been dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients.

Professional Background:

Dr. Berdis completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, and further honed his expertise with a fellowship in sports medicine at the Beacon Orthopaedic Research & Education Foundation in Cincinnati. His research on ACL reconstruction in adolescent patients has been published in the prestigious Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery.

During his training, Dr. Berdis gained extensive experience in sports medicine by serving as head or assistant team physician for various high school, college, and professional sports teams, including the Canton Charge, Cincinnati Reds, and PGA Tour. Since 2020, he has also been the team physician for Austintown Fitch High School sports teams.
