"Dr Berdis did not care about my knee. I injured my knee in an exercise class. The next day I went to Youngstown orthopedic urgent care on crutches. They did an x-ray & scheduled a follow up appointment for me with Dr. Berdis. Eight days later I went to my appointment and he sent me back to work the next day. Although I told him something still wasn’t right with my knee, he said the exam of my knee was normal. It didn’t get better so I went to my family doctor & he ordered an MRI, which I had last week. The results are a complex tear of the body and posterior horn of the medial meniscus with the dominant radial tear of the posterior root insertion with medial meniscus extrusion. My doctor is referring me to an orthopedic surgeon and it will not be Dr. Berdis. If the MRI would’ve been done in the beginning of May when I hurt my knee, I would have had the proper treatment & possibly be recovered by now. I find Youngstown Orthopedics to be very uncaring & rude, all they worry about is getting their co-pay as soon as you walk in the door. Go somewhere else."
