"I was a patient who was treated horribly. When I tried to get off a medication, he continued to prescribe me the full amount without providing any guidance on a taper. I repeatedly would go back asking for help getting off of the meds and… nothing. One appt I cried, practically begging to be done with the meds. When I asked how much I should take each day, “Just a little each day.” Then I asked, how do I know when I’m done? “You’ll just know.” Seriously? What did I pay for?? Last year I was gaining weight, 12 lbs every 4 weeks and I know my body, my entire life I’ve been skinny and my whole family! He just kept giving me weight loss tips, the most effective weight loss pill was prescribed and that didn’t work! I ASKED for blood work and the results were “fine.” I just found out that the blood work was NOT fine. So, 1 yr of wondering about weight gain, I find my bloodwork online. It all made sense. He told me NOTHING! Back to getting off meds. I called asking for support and help before my next appt, I was told the doc and his wife weren’t in till tomorrow. I told the lady who answered said she’d pass the message, it was a pretty serious situation. I called the next THREE DAYS and they never answered my calls! I left messages… NO ANSWER and NO CALLS RETURNED! Then I get a bill in the mail for random charges that were covered with insurance, she pretended it was MY job to call the insurance and make sure they pay. Bullcrap! I gave you my insurance, it’s YOUR job to make sure to submit the claims, not ignore it and send me a bill! If you are looking for support or any guidance with your healthca, this place is NOT for you. I had a terrible experience."

"Dr. Ballester has been wonderful to me ever since my first visit. He understands my health problems and he is treating me accordingly. I'm 76 years old and he keeps me to where I can still live in my home and do all the things a homeowner needs to do. I'm thankful for what Dr. Ballester does for me."
