"I just had one of the best meals I have ever had from a restaurant. I have lived in Warren my whole life, and didn’t know about this gem of a place! The food was so good, catfish, chicken, ribs, cornbread, cornbread dressing, banana pudding and some amazing greens! The flavored lemonade was refreshing and flavorful and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. I absolutely had a great meal at a very reasonable price. You can tell everything is homemade, and done right! Do yourself a favor and order in, carry out whatever….next time no one wants to pick where to go…choose this place. It’s now on my radar and will be a go-to dinner location. I would have added an extra star if I could have. 6/5 Stars from me"
"Whatever you do don’t get the black eye peas, they were very watery & the peach cobbler barely had any peaches. Made me pay for another peach cobbler after we had discussed yesterday that there were know peaches in the one from yesterday, offered to bring it back so they could see it but still had to pay for another one. Plus they forgot two sweet potato pies on yesterday. Bad experience."

"HUGE portions. Excellent price. Worth the wait. I recommend calling in ahead if you’re super hungry. We waited a little over an hour at the dinner rush.. but it’s so flavorful and was deff with the wait. We got the dry ranch wings, meatloaf, and a fish dinner. First time going, we will be back :) thanks for the great dinner! Just went back for the second time and got the neck bones & wing dings.. fantastic food, excellent prices. Highly recommend"
"We got fried chicken, yams, mac & cheese, cole slaw, & a whiting fish sandwich. Everything was good! I probably won’t get the yams again, they weren’t sweet enough for me personally. Excited to go back! Update: we go here regularly now!"
