About the Business

Cleveland Clinic Dermatology

Cleveland Clinic Dermatology, located at the main campus at 2049 E 100th St, Cleveland, OH 44106, offers comprehensive and specialized dermatological care for both adult and pediatric patients. Our esteemed Department of Dermatology includes over 30 expert dermatologists who provide diagnosis and treatment for a wide array of skin, hair, and nail disorders, whether they are primary conditions or related to underlying systemic illnesses, including industrial-related conditions.

We specialize in evaluating and managing conditions such as dermatitis, folliculitis, pigmentary changes, and photosensitivity, often caused by environmental or industrial factors. Our dermatologists are also involved in consulting with industry and government entities to diagnose, treat, and prevent these skin disorders.

Our department is committed to cutting-edge dermatologic clinical research, ensuring that our patients have access to the most current and innovative diagnostic procedures and therapeutic modalities. Both staff dermatologists and residents actively participate in research, supported either institutionally or through clinical trials funded by industry partners.

Recognizing the urgency of skin cancer concerns, we prioritize prompt consultations for referred patients with precancerous or cancerous diagnoses. To schedule an appointment for a skin cancer evaluation or any dermatological concern, please call 216.444.3365.

For those unable to travel to our Cleveland Clinic location, we offer virtual consultations with our specialists. This program allows patients to connect with Cleveland Clinic dermatologists via phone, tablet, or computer, providing a convenient alternative to in-person visits. Through this service, patients can receive an educational second opinion, including a comprehensive review of medical records, diagnosis, treatment options, and recommendations for future care, with the opportunity to speak directly with a physician expert.

Cleveland Clinic Dermatology is dedicated to partnering with healthcare providers in caring for their patients. To refer patients to our department, please contact us at 216.444.3365 (toll-free at 800.223.2273, ext. 43365). We will facilitate the registration process and schedule appointments at the patient's convenience, keeping referring providers informed throughout the process.

For more information or to learn more about our services, please visit our website or contact us directly. We are committed to providing exceptional dermatological care and support to our patients and partners.

"Waited months to see provider only to get it canceled on the day of the appointment because they scheduled me with the wrong provider."

"Pathetic. The Stow doctor I visited spoke over me, developed her own impressions, never listened to me and cut me off several times, zero interest in what I was saying. she already had it all figured out. Then told me all I was saying was neurotic and delusional. My horrible parasite infestation that caused horrific black and blue areas on my forearms, she said, which my wife witnessed the agony of (though it may have been subsiding by the appointment I went for safety), was all in my head. There were no bugs! What "Great news!" for the psychotic patient fool. Yes, I tried to remove the tiny things with tweezers. They tunneled (not scabies). She said the tunnel lines were from me picking. By far the worst ever doctor appointment I've ever had . A complete waste of money. The woman didn't listen. She already formed an opinion. If I need a psych eval I'd head to another department...not Dermatology. She actually listed my diagnosis as neurotic and delusional! What a QUACK!!! Don't go to Stow!"

"Don't even try to get an appointment here. I could not even get one scheduled. The secretaries engage in the worst kind of gatekeeping imaginable. They made decisions for me without being examined by a doctor, thus I could not get treatment for my ailment. Honesty I don't think I will dealing the Cleveland Clinic in the future. So many bad experiences."

"I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my entire life. The doctor refused to see us after I waited with my 13 month old son for almost an hour! I took the day off work and drove almost a half an hour to get to the office just to be turned away when I had an appointment! Apparently there was a system glitch that made it appear as if we had never checked in. I went to check in with reception after 30 minutes, just like those polite signs say. The receptionist said she would check in with the nurse and came back 20 minutes later to apologize for the system error and inform me that Dr. Fazekas, who is “very difficult to work with” was REFUSING to see us because we no longer “fit into her schedule.” Are you serious? I would have stayed to demand to see the doctor anyway, but was so discouraged to hear about the doctor’s attitude towards patients. I am just a mom trying to get help for her infant son. What a terrible doctor!"

"I would not go to Cleveland Clinic Dermatology. I checked in on the kiosk at 8:20 a.m. with an appointment at 8:50 and After 30 minutes I went to the desk and asked them why it was taking so long. They told me that the kiosk did not work and they will check me in as a late patient. I am like, "I am not late". After another 20 minutes, a LPN comes out and tells me I was late and I have to wait another hour, but she wasn't sure! I told them I have a job and this is not great customer service. She told me it was my fault since I was late! I told her I wasn't late and she said, well, from our records you were late! She was RUDE and inconsiderate. She also told me to get someone to "fill in" for me at work. RIDICULOUS! Do not go here!"
