"I am currently looking for a new gynecologist after moving to Ohio from out of state. I’ve had very bad experiences with IUD insertions and called and inquired if they would have a provider who could do a replacement with sedation (which is what my last doctor did and this was an amazing experience) . The woman who answered the phone was very belittling telling me in all her years of working in gynecology she had never heard of using sedation for an IUD and it seemed like a “lot of unnecessary work”. Please educate your office staff on being respectful to the different needs of different women, especially considering that this person also confirmed that they do have privledges at surgery centers so weather or not they want to, their doctors do have the ability to place an IUD under sedation. IUD insertions can be extremely painful especially for women who have not had children, using twilight sedation for their insertions is quite common in Europe and is also done here in the US. I had read so many people say this practice was respectful and supportive so I was very disappointed."

"I have been a patient of Dr Jenkins for around 17 years. The practice is wonderful, and I have never had an issue in the many years I've been here. Dr Jenkins is one of the best doctors I have ever had. His no nonsense approach actually saved my life. Years ago, I was misdiagnosed by an urgent care for some abdominal pain. (They said it was period related). So after a lot of tests, and a trip to the ER, I finally showed up to Dr Jenkins in a great deal of pain. Dr Jenkins saw I was having classic gallbladder symptoms and steered the course for me to get it removed. It was a tricky diagnosis bc all imaging showed the gallbladder looked perfectly normal, however Dr Jenkins persisted and advocated for me, saying "If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...." When they finally operated, they found the gallbladder had been folded on itself, and the source of all my pain was gone. I couldn't have been more grateful. I could go on with more stories of how Dr Jenkins has advocated for me and my health. He truly cares for his patients."
