"At first I was not going to leave a review but after the way Sarah handled the situation of me not being satisfied with what she had done to my wedding dress I am no longer hesitant. Let's start from the bottom of my dress the hem at the bottom is 4 inches wide which make my dress lay in a manner that is not flattering. On the side seams of my dress where she did not cut out the excess material to make it fit properly she decided to fold the excess material & sew it which made the hips of the dress not fit properly (pointed out my my 2nd opinion seamstress) Now to the back of my dress. It is supposed to hug my curves & have a mermaid fit. It does not. She failed to remove the zipper to make the dress my actual size. (Pointed out by the seamstress I had to get a 2nd opinion from) this caused me to look like I had a pointed tail protuding from my bottom. On to the top of my dress. The top portion of my dress is an illusion material that she made way too small. She deconstructed the top of my dress (to make it fit me) but when she did this Sarah made it so small it began to dig into my skin after wearing it for 5 minutes, leaving red indents in my skin as Sarah tells me this will stretch over time (this material does not stretch) on to my cap sleeves that were over a inch off from being even, she didn't even notice. I had to point out how uneven the cap sleeves were. Not only were my cap sleeves uneven she left the illusion material hanging underneath (pic posted for ref)of them that was never trimmed off. I had 5 different sessions with Sarah. In the end I took my dress home within 2 weeks I knew I could not be happy with the way my dress turned out. I contacted Sarah through email & requested a refund for my dress, which she denied and offered to redo the top. Honestly after 5 times of back & forth who would agree to that. For me it was too much of a risk to go back for a 6th time. When I got my second opinion that seamstress confirmed the top was no longer workable because it was too small & no room for anymore adjustments. So I informed Sarah of this and when I wrote Sarah again this was her response to me : "Of course there isn’t room to let it out. It’s custom!!! I’m sorry you weren’t open to an adjustment on a minor imperfection to match the rest of the perfectly fitting gown with 5 months of time. Way to panic. Leave your review before you’re slammed for time because you weren’t open minded to adjust this one.  I  would’ve worked that top until you were 100% satisfied and stand by my work ethic. All this so you didn’t have a piece of lace over a seam bc you didn’t want to change the pattern of appliqué!  Good luck to you. I certainly do not appreciate the disrespect you conveyed to me in your email. My dress was not custom, I came to you for simple adjustments. The fact is that you made it too small & now illusion is ruined with the seams running under my collarbones along with darting. Which is exactly what a "simple" piece of lace would have done, so either way the illusion was ruined. I picked the dress because I fell in love with the illusion. I expressed to you that I wanted the dress to look exactly the same as I bought it. You said not a problem when in fact it did end up being a problem. The one thing that is to be perfect is the wedding dress. As the bride this is not a minor imperfection. Thank you, Dusty Blankenship" So much for customer service and the customer being right. A refund should be given to me. As a bride my advice is do not go here. If you do and you are unhappy with her work do not pay her. In her response she talks about a piece of lace over a seam it would have ruined the illusion of my dress (pic posted for ref) in the end she ruined the illusion any way due to the seams of my dress that should be on my shoulders the seams are under my collarbones and created darting in the illusion. She ruined my dress."

"She can work MAGIC. I was making my own wedding dress from a vintage pattern and was having a friend who makes clothes help me put it together, but we were having some major fit issues the WEEK before my wedding...actually quite literally 5 days before! From my before image you can see i was having some puckering at the front darts and i wanted the bodice to be a bit tighter to my body. I also needed the skirt portion to be taken in a bit more to be a bit more fitting on my waist and bottom. She 1. responded immediately and with no hesitation took on my frantic last minute and crazy request and 2. was so kind, helpful and excited for me. never once did she make me feel stupid for my last minuteness and the project she had to take on. 3. she did it with perfection. she formed the fit exactly how i wanted and helped me feel like a PRINCESS on my big day! As you can see on the after image - it was PERFECT. 5 out of 5 stars and will continue to send anyone i know to her!"

Sarah did a great job calming my nerves and my dress fit like a glove. My dress had a lot of beading and detail on the bodice. I wore my dress for about 14 hours and it didn't budge.
