"In November 2021, I asked ABC Plumbing to come and work on the furnace. The person claimed to have spent three hours and replaced the pump, charging me over $2,000 for the work. However, in April 2022, when the furnace started acting up, ABC Plumbing never came out to check on the furnace. Eventually, they stopped answering the phone. We hired a handyman; the pump was never replaced, was rusty, and the work was not done in November. We put in a new pump for under $200 in half an hour. ABC Claimed 3 hours of Labor. We have filed a complaint with the State of Alaska Consumer Protection Office and do not recommend ABC Plumbing."
"Not recommended!! When we called and explained what happened we were quoted for $140/hr we already knew what was wrong we needed a specialist to fix it not tell us what was wrong again. They showed up for 10-15 minutes made an assessment and we got charged $140. Just a rip off!! when we clarified with the plumber he said clock ticks when they leave the office.Called and spoke to the supervisor was told the minimum is hr therefore we still pay $140.. Ended up calling another plumber who got the job done and price was reasonable. To pay $140 for someone to come out and make an assessment on what we already know is wrong is nothing but bad business here!! Do not recommend...."
