"From the time you enter their professional business, you’ll find that you’re in good hands with numerous individuals who are willing to bend over backwards to help you out and make you more comfortable. Personally, I need radiation on my feet and they were pretty swollen today so before they took a mold of them a wonderful worker named Joe was nice enough to get me not one but two containers to soak my feet in, in order to bring the information down. It only gets better from there, two other individuals Nancy and Jennifer were responsible for taking molds of my feet and they discussed the best way to do it and even the doctor (Dr. Halligan) came in and took a look to make sure he was satisfied with the end result. The entire staff marches to a very professional and caring beat and I couldn’t be happier that I’m being seen at their facility. A few weeks back I had considered going out of state to receive radiation treatment and I’m very happy I chose otherwise and decided to stay right here in Alaska. They are truly one of a kind!!!"
"The process of treatment was easy, painless and as expected. The complete absence of follow up by anyone from AK Cyber Knife was disappointing. I chose this treatment believing it was the best option for me. In retrospect I would not do it again and caution anyone to consider other options. It was bad enough I was ignored after treatment. That would be tolerable except for the treatment was unsuccessful and the options for treatment of reoccurrence are terrible. Don't make the mistake I did by taking the easy route and be faced with limited choices all of which have terrible side effects."
"I would give more stars if I could! The staff is so friendly. Dr. Magnuson explained the procedure clearly and in-depth. He encouraged questions and was also quick to respond to them via phone or email. I received four 30-minute CyberKnife sessions for Stage 1 non-small cell lung cancer. They were non-invasive and painless (I took naps!). CyberKnife was a miracle for me. Do not hesitate to see if this option will work for you or someone you know and love."
