"I had a traumatic steam explosion happen in my face. Eye trauma and burns to my face and eyes/eye lids. The level of professionalism and care I got from Dr. Michael Vernon was second to none. He was reassuring and to the point with me. Incredible personality and care for his patients. I would not have wanted my eye care in a critical situation in anyone else’s hands. And that’s after having been to the emergency room at an unnamed hospital in Juneau… knowing what level of care I can get from Juneau Eye Clinic, I would have skipped the ER altogether and come straight to see Dr. Vernon, knowing the specialized optical care he is capable of providing. Don’t let the fact that Juneau Eye Clinic is located inside Costco shy you away. State of the art equipment and the best medical care experience of my life. Seriously, cannot thank Juneau Eye Clinic enough. Dr. Vernon was the sunshine on a stormy day in my life. Not to mention the wonderfully bubbly and caring Gabby at the front desk. Fantastic operation. 10 out of 10. Thanks again, Doc!"

"Updated 2023.12.01 Juneau Eye Clinic is located inside Costco by the Tire Department. Make an appointment, show up with any covered insurance, or $184 for an exam. The process is smooth and painless. Takes about half an hour, credit cards accepted. Open Thursdays through Saturdays."

"This is the most stress free eye doctor you can go to. Gabby is the sweetest too, she’s so helpful. The environment is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Both her and the doctor today made my visit go very smoothly and enjoyable. I always get nervous for appointments, regardless of what they are, but when I got there all my worries went away.
