"I was on a cruise ship and got a UTI. We found this clinic in Haines and stopped in just after they opened (8:30am). In less than 2 hours I was registered, seen by a nurse practitioner, and given my prescription in hand (they have an on-site pharmacy). Everyone was wonderful and friendly. Because they were so efficient, we were able to enjoy the town before boarding the ship. The cruise ship wanted to charge $250 just for a consult. Haines Clinic was much more cost effective. Thank goodness! Haines Health Center saved the day."
"Worst billing department I've ever seen! Daughter had an office visit, gave them all insurance information, and heard nothing more, no statements, no invoice, nothing. 8 months later received a bill in my young daughter's name from a creditor. Called SEARHC- they knew nothing. Called the billing number they gave me- they knew nothing. Finally received help with the 3rd number after being told SEARHC tried billing my insurance $900 for 4 stitches. The allowance was less than half that amount and SEARHC still billed $150 to my kid. SO frustrated and what a rip off. That's what happens when you're not on Medicaid in Haines."

"I was visiting Haines during vaction and had an ear infections. I called the clinic and got an appointment in a few hours. Got in and out in about an hours and got the meds at the inhouse pharm. Great place and nice people"
"For a small rural Alaska town we have a very nice clinic. We are blessed with doctors that are here to help people more than to make a fortune. That is the way it should be because you see them around town and they are just like the rest of us. And our nurses are absolutely top kotch."
