About the Business

Deseret Land & Livestock

Deseret Land & Livestock is a university institution located at 40 Main Ranch Way in Woodruff, Utah, just outside of Evanston, Wyoming. This institution offers treks for groups of up to 600 participants at a time, with a maximum capacity of five groups and 1,600 people. Treks are allowed from June to August and cost $15 per person. The optimal trek at this site is four days and three nights, covering a route of 25 to 30 miles. Missionaries are available to assist with treks, providing guidance on the trail and campfire stories. Water and sanitation facilities are provided on a portable basis, and groups are responsible for handling their own water and trash. Fire protocol at the site prohibits wood and charcoal fires but allows propane fire pits. Training seminars for trek leaders are offered by missionary couples at no cost. Deseret Land & Livestock does not offer rental handcarts or other activities besides treks.
