"*Beware of $25 appointment cancellation fee* About a month ago I made an appointment at this salon with my good friend who was in town. I was out of town running errands for the day and unfortunately had to cancel my appointment because my car maintenance was running a bit behind but my friend was still able to attend her appointment. Initially when I called to make the appointments the woman on the phone said nothing regarding a cancellation fee. I had called a few hours in advance the day of the appt to cancel my appointment, the woman on the phone said “let me read you something really quick” and read off their cancellation policy that she should have read to me BEFORE the appointment. Then made me give her my credit card information and once we hung up she called me again to get my exp. date she forgot. It was all very shiesty. It’s not the fact that there was a cancellation fee, I understand it sucks to have someone cancel on you the day of. However, it was the way they went about it seemingly so desperate for that 25 dollars.. On top of that they were making sly comments about me to my friend when she was there stating they were “in Idaho Falls today and made it here on time”. These people definitely need to learn some compassion for they did not once ask why I couldn’t make it to my appointment. Anyways, all this to say please update your policy to have customers read your policy BEFORE the appointment and if you need the money so badly you can charge a $25 deposit for the appointment that can go towards the appointment if the customer comes in or is the fee if they are unable to make it for any reason at all. We are all human! Hopefully you can do better in the future & if not there are some lovely professionals I will be seeing at Salon 22 in Victor from here on out ❤️"

"Was too busy prior to leaving for vacation to take care of my hair coloring, so I scheduled an appointment for hair color/highlight/cut & style at Salon Blaq in Driggs, ID. I was given an appointment after my first call to the salon...that's a plus! Day of my appointment, I was greeted by the most friendly staff...that's a plus! Aubrey was my professional colorist. She talked about what I wanted, gave recommendations, and then proceeded to utterly amaze me with a wonderful hair-care experience...that's a plus, plus, plus!!! I highly recommend Aubrey and all the stylists whom I observed while in Salon Blaq."
