"We left out of Seward for a 4 hour Spring Whale-watching cruise (12:30). The staff was terrific and informative. The conditions were perfect combination of sunny blue skies and calm water. Saw a large pod of Orcas! Incredible experience! The hydrophone setup to let us listen to the whales was unexpected and added to the surreal experience! Would highly recommend this cruise to everyone! Margaritas and Bloody Mary’s available too, double bonus!"

"We did the four hour tour with Captain Laura (who was professional knowledgeable and kind) and enjoyed every minute. We felt very safe. We got to see a bald eagle and a pod of orcas! The views take your breathe away. This trip is a must if you are vacationing near Seward!"

"We had an absolutely incredible time on the Northwestern Fjords Tour (8.5 hours) with Major Marine Tours on 08/29/2023! The cabin crew was wonderful and the captain's passion for the job was infectious. During the tour, we were treated to a spectacular array of marine life, from humpback whales to sea otters and puffins. Scott, the deck-hand, was not only friendly but impressively knowledgeable about all the animals. He even looked after those who felt a bit seasick. Oh, and the highlight? Witnessing the majestic northwestern glacier calving for a good 2 minutes, playing with ancient glacier ice, and sipping margaritas on the tour! If you're on the fence about which tour to choose, let me tell you, the 8.5-hour one is a winner. It's a smaller group, around 30 people on a cozier vessel, which means you get fantastic interaction with the crew. Plus, more time on the water translates to more chances to spot wildlife. The only teeny downside might be a touch of seasickness, but a little Dramamine works like magic! Trust me, this tour is an absolute must-do."

"Amazing experience during the cruise. Although animal watching can never be guaranteed, the crew does its best to coordinate with other boats and local fishermen to find marine animals in the area. We had the good fortune to see a humpback whale and an orca. Very informative crew and excellent control of the boat to minimize chances of getting seasick. They also provide binoculars (for free!) to help further improve the experience. The northwestern glacier tour, in particular is mind-blowing. This is the longest tour conducted by this company and worth every penny!"

"We had a great day (8.5hour tour) with wonderful cabin crew from Major marine tour on 07/01/2023! The captain showed so much passion to his job and we were able to see humpback whales, porpoise, orcas, puffins, sea lions, seals, and sea otters during the tour. The deck-hand was very nice and very knowledgeable of all the animals we saw on the tour. She also took good care of guests who had sea sickness during the tour. We absolutely enjoyed the experience!"
