"Like many, I'm not a huge fan of doing to the dentist. I took a chance here about 4-5 years ago, and while they did do a GREAT job giving my teeth a deep cleaning (it had been 4-5 years since my last cleaning when I came here), so thank you for that at least! However...I was told some information that has hence been proven inaccurate. Jim told me that I had 6 cavities that should be dealt with, also due to a small infection in my gums around my front teeth, that one of my front teeth was not going to survive and to think about planning for that surgery... Well, with all that lurking in the back of my mind I chose to just ignore the problems for now and deal with it later. Now, 4-5 years after the above mentioned visit, I finally sack up and schedule another dentist appointment down in Utah where I live now, fully ready to start planning to drill out a million cavities and figure out what to do with this front tooth issue. After another rough deep cleaning... this new dentist walked me through the new x-rays and assured me quite convincingly that I actually currently have ZERO cavities, and beyond one crack in the enamel on this front tooth, there was no reason to be alarmed about losing this front tooth. That my teeth, with some better annual maintenance, are actually in pretty darn good shape! Quite the turn around opinion after hearing Jim's devastating news years ago... which ironically gave me more dentist anxiety which is why it took me another 4-5 years to get another checkup... so thanks... I see at least one other review mentioning a similar story, so I figured I'd share mine incase it's a current trend here. I just suggest getting a second opinion before this place starts going drill happy on your only set of adult teeth..."

"They were very quick to get me in to fix a broken filling, not once but twice. Courteous and kind from the receptionist to the dentist himself."

"Told me I had 9 cavities. I got a second opinion which found two pre cavities which I’ve now taken care for years later with no problems. May have been trying to take me for a ride as I was 22 and not from the local community. Glad I didn’t drill out 9 of my teeth."

"Best. Dentist. Ever!!! Carolina & (Michelle?) the very kind hygienist were so welcoming to me. I forgot my wallet and didn't realize until I got out of my car, but they didn't even bat an eye. Very flexible with payment schedule too which was huge because I'm on a limited budget. The hygienist totally took the edge off of my dental anxiety. She's got jokes! Dr. Neerings did not try to sell me any extra dental work or scare me into coming back, even though we both know I need more done. He fixed my problem tooth in an unbelievably small amount of time, only did imaging for the one tooth I was concerned about so I didn't have a bunch of random stuff to pay for, and just gently recommended that I make an appointment for a comprehensive exam when my finances are in better order. If I could give ten stars I would."

"TVDC has taken excellent care of both of our little ones' teeth! They're caring, patient, thorough, and flexible. They also managed to fill several cavities on a 5-year-old without a single tear."
