"This was one of the most bizarre dining experiences of my life. We came here to get oysters, and yes, they were good oysters. The server/bartender was genial and eager to talk to us about how he got them - cool! And that's about it for the positives. We ordered a serving of oysters at the same time as two Diet Cokes. We got the oysters, each ate one, and wanted to wait for our drinks before eating the rest. We waited...and waited...and waited....and waited....and waited...and finally gave up and just ate the rest. We had thought about getting more food because there looked to be a nice selection available, and several other dining parties were eating a lot. But nobody ever came to our table. Every other table was visited several times by the three other waiters (not including the bartenders), but we were never even looked at. We kept trying to flag someone down, but were continuously ignored. It was not a busy night. Maybe our "tourist" stench made them stay away - who knows. Somehow, we managed to get our check, left cash, and left. We never received our soda but also weren't charged for them, so, small victories."

"The most amazing oysters in the valley. It's like a dive restraunt, so dont let the building discourage you, great food and drinks."

"This was definitely the best place to get oysters in the state. We tried them all, and it was as good as the Bubbly Mermaid in Anchorage. The Thai food is amazing and the drinks were nice as well. We will be back for sure. This place came highly recommended."

"Who would have thought that the best Thai food in Southcentral Alaska was hidden just south of Willow on the Parks Highway? We didn't know what to expect when we rolled in for lunch, but the smell coming from the kitchen convinced us we were on the right track. You can sit at the kitchen counter, in the main dining room, outdoor at a picnic table or back in the bar. We opted for bar seating and decided to start things off with a homemade Bloody Mary. Strong showing. Next time I plan to order the spicy ginger margarita. My friend and I shared a dozen oysters split between the Black Sauce and Tom Yum. They were as good as they look in the picture-- the former had a complex, rich flavor profile with just enough kick, and the latter were a beautiful combination of two of my favorite things: Tom Yum soup and delicious Alaskan oysters. I probably could have made a meal of oysters and beer, but was glad we pressed on. The shrimp curry stir fry special arrived with a healthy portion of large prawns served in a rich curry broth. The shrimp were cooked perfectly-- just translucent. We also had the fried frogs legs, beautifully done with mixed vegetables and rice. This should be a required meal stop for any fan of Thai food driving the Parks Highway."
