"Delightful - no wonder it's named in NYT 2023 Restaurant List. Had to have the Thunderdome - a pizza that puffs up into a dome, adorned with garlic butter and the lightest, airiest whipped butter ever. The "Cheesy shells with Smoked Salmon" was so fresh and delicious - homemade pasta cooked to perfection, lots of rich smoked salmon, topped with bread crumbs and a generous amount of fresh dill made for a beautifully flavored and textured dish. The Scallops had an amazing sauce with terrific bite as it hits your palate, full of rich flavor. The bread pudding for dessert was large, with a perfect airy texture and a rich caramel sauce, and mercifully no rum flavor. The mocktail "Real Fake Gin & Tonic" had great aromatic flavors. The staff were all hard-working and really added to the experience. A really nice and satisfying night out."

"The dinner was amazing in a hip cozy setting. We loved the wood fired broccoli— so well done in texture and taste (amazing sauce). We had steak and shrimp as main dish and it was cooked perfectly with delicious sauce. Desert was huge portion and very rich and indulgent. Wine selection was great as well. We would love to go back. A gem in Juneau!!"

"Wonderful experience! Great casual atmosphere. Super friendly service. The waiter brought everything out at the correct time, perfect timing. Salad followed by the pizza and then the dessert. We ordered pizza, salad and tiramisu. Pizza could use a little bit more sauce. Excellent crust and excellent sausage. The salad had just the right amount of dressing. Apples were sliced thin and delicious walnuts. Tiramisu was good however they froze the tiramisu and after defrosting there was a little too much condensation and water inside."

"Really good Italian fare. In Boca al Lupo is not a really fancy place but the food is excellent and the service is good. The portion size is very large. I highly suggest the Thunderdome as an unusual and delicious starter. We split it four ways and still had some leftover. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes Italian food."

"Really good food, priced reasonably (considering the quality). This place is busy, but we were lucky enough to snag a late reservation. We started with sourdough bread, and wondered if we should regret not choosing the Thunderdome. Fettuccine with dark meat chicken was good, as was the bread pudding. Although we didn't sample any of the spirits, they have a diverse wine and beer selection."
