"Absolutely terrible service department and dealership. My car was stuck there for 2 months. I took it in for an issue with my lights back in early July of 2023. It's now mid-September 2023, and I still have no idea what's going in with my car. The car is a 2005, so it's not mind-blowing that things are starting to fail. But, after 3 weeks of my vehicle being there, I received a call that I they would need to do another $200 diagnostic because my car was running rough and would turn itself off. After running a 2nd diagnosis, I was told the Mass Air Flow Sensor needs to be replaced. This is the same Mass Air Flow Sensor this dealership replaced a year and a half ago. They said they would cover it under warranty. After that conversation, I haven't heard a single thing about my car, and not due to lack of trying. I have called multiple times a day, every day, for the past 2 weeks. I have left countless voicemails for a status update on my vehicle, and no one ever calls me back. This is the exact same thing that happened when I gave them my car for the Mass Air Flow Sensor issue previously. Months go by before they fix anything, and it's impossible to get an update on 1) what it will cost, 2) how long it will take to fix, and 3) what is taking so long. Look, I get it. We live in Alaska. That comes with a certain level of supply chain issues. But this is absurd. Mercedes is supposed to be renowned for its service departments. That's why you pay a premium to have your car at their dealership. This place DOES NOT deliver on that ideal. I hate working with this dealership. UPDATE (9/20/2023): I finally got my car back this week. They didn't even fix the issue with the lights I brought it in for originally. UPDATE (10/5/2023) In addition to not fixing the problem I brought it in for, all of my personal belongings were removed from my trunk, and I can not get anyone to call me back about where my belongings are located. Were they stolen? Were they thrown in the trash? What is happening?! My wife picked up the car, and didn't notice because she would have no reason to open the trunk. She did tell me that they left my driver side window open when they parked it in front of the dealership. It was open when she got there. Called last week to notify the management team and was told this issue would be escalated. Never heard back. Called in on 10/3 to follow up and asked for a manager, and they transferred me to another dealership. The pictures I uploaded were pictures of my trunk when I received it back from Mercedes. It looks like it had been left open for days. Everything except the spare tire was removed. Jack, Road Flares, Emergency Signal Triangle, Tow Strap, Cold-Weather emergency supplies (gloves, space blanket, ice grippers, boots), and my ice scraper. Oh ya, and now the latch for trunk is all jacked up, and it own't close without having to slam it like a barbarian. Sure does seem like my car was broken into while it was on their lot. Due to the lack of response I was forced to email Jeff Swickard directly. Just awful. Absolutely awful."
