"My husband and I love our new place. We've said to each on several occasions, that compared to other complexes, River Rock is the closest that we have gotten to feeling like home. We have since recommended River Rock to a few friends. The application process and the virtual tour were pretty easy, and the office team was very responsive. The apartment was clean when we moved in and maintenance has fixed every request, in a timely manner, without any problems. It is a really quiet neighborhood, for the most part. Most of what we hear comes from the rail yard. However, the noise level is still bearable and it doesn't interfere with your sleep. If we had to do it again, we would definitely choose River Rock, all over again."

"I’ve been here for years and they’ve worked with me through everything. It’s a fairly quiet apartment complex, which is appealing to me and the location is great. Never had a problem with any of my neighbors and it’s a comfortable place to live!"

"The apartments are nice for the price. The reason for the low review is the horrible management it is under. Over my life, I have never dealt with a company which has been so incapable at their jobs. If management needs something, it has to be done within 72 hours. If you need something done, they are extremely slow and take their time as if your needs as an occupant are not a priority. Last winter hot water and heat went out for about a week in the dead of winter when the average temperature did not rise above 10 degrees. Management did not offer any type of space heaters for the first 3 days, making excuses for why it would take over a week to the the heat fixed. a single space heater was finally issued around the 4th day after repeated complaining about how cold the apartments were given no available heat, which was included in the contract. At no time did they offer any alternative accommodations for showers given the water was ice cold. In summery, if you are looking for a cheap apartment but don't mind the worst management in this town, then go with Rock River and Crest View (same management). If customer service is important to you, please look elsewhere."

"Things started off great. I'm not sure if management changed or what, but they have become militant in just about everything They routinely threaten tenants and recently changed a policy about putting dish stuff on poles. Not a hard request right? Well instead they sent a letter threatening to cut everyone's cable if they did not make the switch asap. Personally, if you make a policy change don't threaten us. Ask us nicely and if things don't change...warn us! Also don't expect to get half if not any of your deposit, as crestview is notorious for being slimy."

"The apartments looked nice when I went for a quick walk through but some things you don't realize until you move in. The first day before I moved in all my things I mopped and wiped down counters and noticed that my cleaning clothes got disgusting. The door handle to the front door FELL OFF!!!! just dropped to the floor trapping me inside for hours. When I called and said it was an emergency they didn't think it was so I had to fix it myself which is a definite safety issue! It's been a week and they still haven't come to check it. Next I noticed that my washer dryer area smelled like a litter box, and shakes so badly that the downstairs neighbors bang on my floor. I moved the washer to figure out why it was so loud and I found feces! It's like they didn't clean at all before I moved in! I told them this and they said it clearly states in the lease that I must notify them the first day before I move my stuff in, if I think it hasn't been cleaned properly...like I should expect cat feces under my washer. In addition to those major problems there are small ones like the bathroom outlet doesn't work, and some of the windows either don't open at all, or don't stay open and slam shut. It is honestly an okay place to live but make sure to check everywhere and everything before you settle down and agree to live there for a year."
