"Like most hospitals it's too far from the main road. You can get into the McDonald's faster than the emergency room. Every second in an emergency matters. Bleeding to death, stroke, etc. all depend on seconds counting. Also there's a sidewalk to the road but no sidewalk from the sidewalk to the hospital. Good luck walking to the emergency room without getting run over. At least you're on your way if you do get hit by a vehicle."

"Parents must discuss labor and delivery preferences if they wish for their comfort and preferences to be acknowledged or considered at all. In my experience giving birth in 2021 at Logan Health Hospital of Whitefish, Montana, my requests were ignored, overlooked and not even considered. Even with a simply prepared birth plan complete with specific orders not to offer or administer pain medication - I was still offered and encouraged to accept anything that would make the hospital more money during my stay. I was very displeased with this aspect and the incompetency of the nurses and staff, who were under-rested, poorly trained, and negligent throughout my entire delivery. As this was  a first time delivering a child for me, I was surprised to have a nurse that was training to perform many (practically all) of the duties required for a successful delivery. It would have been much more comforting and reassuring to have had a nurse with more experience. Although I made it through my five-and-a-half-hour alive and with no surgeries or epidural, it was clear that the staff was underprepared and uninterested in honoring one of the notes I had prepared for them. I don't believe my birth plan was ever even read. I had planned to do a water birth to make the experience more enjoyable and easier all around, however, not a single person in the room of twelve people (where I had requested no more than three or four nurses during the height of COVID-19) could check the temperature of the bath water. It seems facebook and checking your nurse buddies' online status is just too crucial and far more important than the patients' needs. Needless to say, I got into a scorching hot bath and all of my vitals and my daughters vitals dropped exponentially and to an alarming extent. I would not recommend this hospital or Heart and Hands midwifery to my worst enemy - what an awful experience working alongside this "team" of workers."

"We had a terrible experience with this ER after a terrible car accident. The staff was rude and had little compassion. They didn't order x-rays where they needed to. They gave us no information on what was wrong with my wife who was badly injured. After they ran some tests they left my wife in the room for two hours without checking on her or dressing her wounds. My 3 year old daughter and I who were also in the accident were mostly ignored, not even offered a drink of water."

"First week of May 2023 I was having a severe asthma attack and had to go to the emergency room. Every staff member was reassuring, encouraging, comforting and personable yet professional, patient, understanding, and everything you could want medical staff to be. They took such good care of me. My asthma was pretty bad so I ended up staying a couple nights. The doctor that took care of me, Dr. Marzano, was incredible. I don’t think that man slept the entire time I was there. He frequently checked in on me and made sure I was doing okay. The nurses that took care of me during the night were PHENOMENAL!! Laura H. and Jim B. constantly made me feel safe, heard, taken care of, dignified, and comfortable the entire stay, and deserve a large raise in my opinion. I would 100% go back for care in the future and would recommend this establishment to everyone."
